Use Graduation Clip Art

Graduation clip art, like any other clip art, is one of the most flexible things you can use to create your own stationery. Indeed the images are also excellent for t-shirts, coffee mugs and lots of other great things. The choice of clip art is massive, with some of it from paid sites and the rest from free websites. Indeed, if your use is not commercial you should be able to find the clip art you need for free. Another great source could be to buy image generating software where you can create your own images. With all this flexibility what can you do with graduation clip art?

Firstly I do tend to see the images as a resource just like paper and the tolls for making invitations. For me the important thing to do is create the design for the invitations, for example. The key is to get the design right and then look for the images, paper and ink to bring the design to life and get it onto paper. One thing to watch out for is not to create colored backgrounds and print them on your PC printer, as that will use up far too much ink. A better compromise is to find a colored paper.

Just to give a good example, perhaps it would be useful to run through a kindergarten example. It could be for any graduation but it does give on example to relate to and let you see how simple and efficient this can be done. The decision was taken to use a butterfly as the primary image with a white background and colored writing. That left the design to be finalised in terms of the position of the butterfly and it's size and color. There are lots of free butterfly images to use which can readily be imported to software like Paint on your PC. You can centre them as a background, put them in any corner, size the image, and even layer it with more butterflies.

I could of course have added a few more images like a graduation cap. Once you are sure of at least a first draft design, just import it to Word and add your wording. After a trial print as sometimes the image can look a little different on paper, you can complete your final alterations and print off the final design. The process can be repeated for envelopes, thank you notes, place cards and lots more essential stationery. Doing it this way you have total control of the design, costs and timings. The whole process takes just a few minutes.

Graduation clip art has so many varieties that you can create great things for any age of graduate. Indeed the range of graduation images is extensive and includes scrolls, caps, graduate silhouettes and lots, lots more. Enjoy using clip art to create all the things you need.
